HARIBO Happy World is a colourful celebration of the HARIBO sweet we all know and love. Located in Dubai (at the Dubai Festival City Mall), this new store offers something tangible for children: play zones, a bear-themed cafe and more.
Understandably, the Happy World owners needed a marketing agency to assist their venture.
Kingsmen Agency was chosen, and we quickly set about ensuring the brand would make a splash in Dubai’s competitive market.
In the article to follow, we’ll showcase the work we delivered and the tasks we were entrusted with.
1: Creating new Digital Accounts for HARIBO
The Kingsmen team were responsible for setting up – and managing – the following accounts:
- Facebook Business Manager
- Facebook Ad Account
- Facebook Pixel installation
- Facebook Pixel Events configuration
- Product Catalogue setup
- Instagram account
- YouTube channel
- Snapchat account

2: Solidifying the Brand Identity
HARIBO Happy World has a brand identity in place. Instead of tinkering with it, we set about solidifying what the rules were. In short, what shouldn’t ever be changed.
We delivered a structured brand guideline pack with a few of the following details in mind:
Our brand guidelines looked at:
- Logo placement rules
- Spacing requirements
- Colour palette
- Typography (VAG Rounded usage)
- Goldbear do’s and don’ts
- Packaging do’s and don’ts
3: Delivering Campaign/Promotional Designs
New Year’s Eve Offer

We designed a bold NYE flyer that retained the signature playful tone.
The layout was simple, colourful and easy to read — ideal for both print and digital.
Birthday Invitations

A birthday at HARIBO Happy World is a big deal. For this birthday template, we wanted Goldbear front and centre, with balloons, birthday presents and other embellishments occupying the corners of the page.

4: Designing In-Store & Display Materials
Height Ruler Design

Not every child is old enough (or “big” enough) to take on the games. Like an amusement park, HARIBO Happy World uses a height ruler!
The Kingsmen team was tasked with coming up with what this would look like.
5: Creating the Goldbears Café Menu
The Goldbears Cafe is one of the central attractions of HARIBO Happy World.
We designed a menu to match.
The layout was simple, bright and child-friendly while remaining legible for adults.

6: Designing the Loyalty & Rewards products
Play/Rewards Card

The Loyalty/Rewards card once again features HARIBO’s famous bear. He’s celebrating atop the page and peaking out from the bottom of the card on the back. The Ts and Cs are in English and Arabic and presented neatly as well.

While we’re at it, let’s not forget the HARIBO loyalty card, dubbed a “Happy Card” in our design.
On the back, we have the stipulations of the deal: Collect 10 stickers to win a free pass at the Dubai Festival City Mall location.
7: Designing Packaging materials & Labels
Because it’s a physical store, HARIBO Happy World has a large number of “real-world” products it needs designs for.
Kingsmen delivered designs accordingly.
- Box designs
- Dessert boxes
- Drink cups
- Stickers and seals
- Product labels (including production and expiry fields)
- And even uniform designs

Consistency was key. Every item had to feel part of the same world. In the image above, we’ve got an example of one of the labels we put together.
8: Misc.
Finally, we’ve been on hand to help HARIBO with miscellaneous designs, like this design of Goldbear celebrating Ramadan.

All in all, Kingsmen has worked closely with HARIBO, both prior to the store launching, and in the months since.
The result?
- Proper digital marketing foundations (Facebook Business, etc)
- Real-world designs for the store
- Marketing materials for digital
- A strong brand identity throughout
